Sunrise Toyota grew from a simple vision and old-fashioned hard work to become one of the Fraser Valley's most respected automobile dealerships.
Roy Yakashiro was an automotive technician in the early 1960's when he had a vision to build a family business with a virtually unknown product from across the Pacific Ocean. An oil crisis, import restrictions and stiff competition meant that customer care had to be first and foremost if the dealership was to survive.
The success of Sunrise Toyota can be placed solely on the pride and ownership that the Yakashiro family have instilled in their employees during the past 45 years.
